Johnson seventh in shot put
Felisha Johnson's seventh place finish in women's shot put has been the highlight so far among Indiana State athletes current and former competing in the USA Track Field Outdoor Championships this weekend.
ISU's Adarius Washington also did not advance in men's 110 meter high hurdles, finishing 24th in a time of 14.06 in Saturday competition. Both Wise and Washington had better times during the regular season.
Another Sycamore, recent freshman Grant Stamm, competed in high hurdles in the USATF Junior Championships on Friday and was 12th in a time of 14.17 seconds.
Still to compete is four time NCAA pole vault champion Kylie Hutson. today.

Four firsts for WITC At Westfield, the Western Indiana Track Club had four first place finishes Saturday at the Indiana Youth Track Association championship meet.
Damon Shaw had three wins in boys 15 16 competition, taking the 100 , 200 and 400 meter dashes. In the same age group, Cameron nike kd 9 Round won 110 meter high hurdles.

15 16 boys Carlos Aguilar second in long jump, third in 100, fifth in 200; Cameron Round fourth in 200.
9 10 boys Tysons Hall ninth in long jump, 10th in 400, 11th in 100.
9 10 girls Myla Webster 11th in 100, 20th in long jump; Marleigh Bex 16th in 100, 17th in long jump; Meara Mulvihill 20th in 100, 23rd in long jump.
