Have you ever wondered the best way to increase your vertical leap? well look no further I am here to help you out. Increasing your vertical is important not only for basketball but all sports that require you to use your legs.
Increasing your vertical can be looked at different ways because there are many methods. I prefer to use ploy metrics because 1.) I use them and they work 2.) Your vertical will increase 3.) You will be satisfied. Now to get to the specifics Im going to give you some helpful tips to help you increase your vertical.
Use a box about 3feet high or you can use a platform to jump onto. Be careful. You want to stand in front of the box or platform and jump straight up with two feet. Once on box you want to step off the box and then jump back on the box with two feet. Try to land on your toes and not heels.
This exercise you want to jump as far as possible while landing on two feet. Stop for a few seconds and the n jump off two feet again as far as possible. Try to mimic how a frog would jump but remember to land on your feet. 3 Sets 8 times.
You would want to do 3 sets 10 times each doing this exercise. Make sure you stand up on your toes and go down slowly so that you can stretch the muscle in your legs. Don't do the raises fast. For best nike tiempo results go up slow and down slow.
Lunges is also a good workout to increase your vertical. When doing the lunges its important to have 2 barbells weighing at least 20lbs for men and 5 10lb for women. Come back up with your right leg and then alternate doing the exact same thing with your left.
When doing this exercises its best to do it on a 10ft rim or near a wall. nike y adidas Stand on two feet without taking any steps and jump straight up. Once your feet touch the ground explode back up immediately. The object is that you are training your leg muscles to react quickly. This will help with explosiveness in your vertical jump.
